Bio

Elizabeth was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, the youngest of six from a musical family. She sings, plays the piano, and has been composing and writing lyrics since 2014. Milestones include:

2015/20 – 2x Semifinalist awards at UK Songwriting Contest (Instrumental and Lyrics only categories). Women of Substance Award-winning Radio and Podcast, 2x Semifinalist awards at UK Song writing Contest, Radio Wigwam BANDWagon Artist, ‘The Fountain’ reached Women of Substance Top 20 listing thanks to fan votes. The Pat Stone Show, KB Indie Radio, video episode 41 of The Art Archaeologist Show  and episode 5 of Your Music Radio. Semifinalist at UK Songwriting Contest for ‘The Dream’, Finalist and Honourable Mention at Maurice Ravel International Composing Competition, with ‘The Piazza’ – first placed instrumentalist for England, Wud Records Musical Discoveries (August, September and October). Lyricist for ‘The Light in Each Day’/Track 9 on 2019 Josie Music Awards nominated Album of the Year ‘Lookin’ Back‘ by Steve Dunfee. KB Indie Radio, Winner: Premio Concurso Internacional Permanente ‘De la Creatividad al Piano‘, featured composer on podcast Gathering Her Notes.

2020/26 – Featured on: KB Indie Radio, Radio Wigwam, Eric Whitacre Virtual Choir 6: Sing Gently, Radio Wigwam Unspoken and interviewed on LilyAmis Blog. Semifinalist in UK Songwriting Contest 2022 with ‘The Wish’ 5-stars, also receiving Commended 5-stars for ‘Sonic Tonic’. During 2023/24, took piano and singing lessons at Collegium Artis, pursuing third year singing lessons during 2024/26. Receiving a Special Mention at UK Songwriting Contest 2024 with ‘The Tide’ 5-stars. Currently featuring on Women of Substance Radio and Podcast, episodes #1382, #1386, #1390, Radio Wigwam Ladies’ Nights, and BBC Sounds Sleeping Forecast.
